Annual Sacramento Advocacy Trip
Save the Date for the Silicon Valley Leadership Group’s Annual trip to California’s state capitol, which will focus on key Silicon Valley policy priorities.
Silicon Valley executive delegation visits will occur with the Governor’s office, key state Senate and Assembly leaders, and new constitutional officers and key agency department leaders to name a few. In addition to high-level visits, the trip will feature networking opportunities with key Silicon Valley industry leaders.
2013 Trip Info: May 22 (visits after 10:00 a.m. with an evening reception to cap off the day.)
Cost for Registration: Includes all meals, bus transportation to/from Sacramento, staff time/travel costs, and all meeting materials. Please contact us so that we can work with you on a registration fee that fits your budget. Delegation Size: 60 or more executives and elected officials are anticipated for the 2013 trip. Sacramento-based members and Silicon Valley city and county elected officials are welcome to participate at a lower rate.
Hotel information: This will be a one-day trip this year -- no overnight accommodations have been arranged.
Transportation: Reduce your carbon footprint! A BUS will greet participants at the Leadership Group offices on the morning of May 22 at 7:30 a.m. destination Sacramento. For the return, a bus will transport guests on May 22 from Sacramento back to Silicon Valley with an arrival of approximately no later than 9:00 p.m. If you drive, please consider offsetting carbon emissions from your travel by going to the following link if you are interested: http://www.carbonfund.org/site/pages/individuals/individual_business_carbon_offsets
